In the vineyard:
With the important exception of Petit Manseng, vintage 2017 has come to a close. What a great year it has been! For more depth and detail, regular updates can be found under “Journal” on Linden’s website.
In the cellar:
The winery is filled with yeasty, fruity aromas. After months of dormancy the cellar is alive and active. Very pleased with the quality of the whites so far. Many of the whites have finished fermentation and are already showing a lot of character. The reds have promise to be the best vintage since 2009/2010.
In the Tasting Room:
Our tastings are open to all visitors (over the age of 21!). Linden’s hours are from 11:00 to 5:00 Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday. There is a $8.00 tasting fee (no charge for case club members and their guests). We are currently tasting: Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Riesling 2016, Rose 2016, Claret 2014, and Petit Verdot 2015. Additionally, in-depth Cellar Tastings are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00. You can reserve a place when you arrive. The cost is $25.00. In the cellar we are tasting: Avenius Chardonnay 2015 and Hardscrabble Chardonnay 2015; 2014 and 2013 Boisseau Reds; Late Harvest Vidal 2009 and Late Harvest Petit Manseng 2010.
Linden’s in-depth vineyard and cellar tours are on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:15. No reservations are necessary and there is no charge for the tour. For more detailed information about visiting Linden, look under ‘Your Visit’. We cannot accept groups larger than four at Linden.
