In the vineyard:
Vintage 2017 has come to a close. What a great year it was! We are now cutting firewood, finishing up trellis installation for our big spring 2018 planting, starting some rough pruning, and doing some replacement vine replanting.
In the cellar:
Vintage 2017 has been put to bed. We will let the new wines settle down until the new year and then begin to taste, evaluate and blend. In the meantime we are getting ready to bottle more of the 2016 vintage. including Hardscrabble Chardonnay, Claret and Petit Verdot.
In the Tasting Room:
Linden’s winter hours are 11:00 to 5:00 on Saturdays and Sundays only. We will be closed for the holidays from Monday, December 18, 2017 through Friday, January 5, 2018. Our tastings are open to all visitors (over the age of 21!). There is a $8.00 tasting fee (no charge for case club members and their guests [maximum group size is four]). During the month of December our tastings are very different than the rest of the year. Details can be found below. For this reason there will be no tours or cellar tastings offered in December.
Of Special Interest:
This December (weekends of Dec. 2&3, Dec. 9&10, and Dec. 16&17) Linden’s tasting will be completely different. We will preview pre-release wines (those wines which will be released in 2018), older vintages from our library, and a tease taste of the 2017 vintage. This format is designed with the loyal Linden aficionado and wine geeks in mind!
