In the vineyard:
Spring is still late in arriving. The first chardonnay buds began swelling on April 14, the same day that the barn swallows began returning to build their nests under the winery deck. The big new Cabernet planting is 80% complete, and pruning is almost done (sadly, as we love to prune!).
In the cellar:
We made the final blends of the 2017 red wines and are very excited about both the quality and quantity. We will slowly start bottling the 2017 whites and rose. Our goal is to give these wines more time to develop, so there is no rush to bottle.
