In the vineyard: Pruning is underway. For the next few months this will be our main vineyard task. We start with older vines and then move to recently planted vineyards. This is our favorite job. Temperatures are never too cold, but sometimes the wind can send us looking for cellar work!

In the cellar: 2016 Red blending trials and evaluations began on January 2, 2017, but we have taken a break as some of the wines are slow to develop. The Avenius Reds were absolutely regal. We are very excited about the reds this vintage. Possibly the best ever…… 2016 Rose will soon be bottled and then released in April once spring settles in.
