2004 Avenius Red
Tasted December 2016: still very primary red fruit on nose, but showing forest floor characteristics. Palate shows a lots of cherry and a high acidity. Medium body. Tannins resolved. Drink now with pasta or a cheese course. (JL)
Rich and savory, resin-like concentration with good sap, a brooding, long, chewy finish.
Wild blackberry & boysenberry, dark chocolate, cedar & grilled meat.
70% Petit Verdot & 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
