2022 Avenius Red
The 2022 Avenius Red has balsam aromas of cloves and sumac. The palate is dense and crunchy with some earthiness. Petit Verdot is present in the Avenius blend for the first time in several years, adding grip and rusticity. This wine is dense, earthy, and woodsy.
2022 Claret
The 2022 Claret is classic Linden Claret with crunchy red fruit and a cleansing acidity that defines the vintage.
2022 Hardscrabble Red
Finessed and nuanced, this is the wine to ponder. It constantly changes in the glass. You need to be quiet when drinking this wine. No parties. This wine has some of the finest tannins Linden has ever produced.
2020 Petit Verdot
The 2020 Petit Verdot is exuberant and wound up with aromas of crunchy red fruit and herbs de Provence. It is medium bodied with acidity rather than tannins giving a long, fresh finish.
2020 Avenius Chardonnay
The Avenius Chardonnay has pungent floral aromas of yellow flowers and honeysuckle. It is medium bodied and quietly builds in concentration. It finishes long with an elegant but lingering acidity.
2021 Petit Manseng Demi Sec
Linden’s 2021 Petit Manseng has exotic tropical yellow fruit aromas (papaya and mango) along with a honeyed preserved lemon note and a bit of brioche and sourdough in the background. The wine is demi sec referring to its caressing sweetness (about 30 grams of residual sugar). A zingy acidity refreshes the finish.
2020 Hardscrabble Chardonnay
This vintage is classic Hardscrabble Chardonnay with apple peel and hint of vanilla aromas. Medium bodied with generous fruit in the mid palate and a pithy structured finish.
2022 Village Chardonnay
The 2022 Village Chardonnay is arguably one of our favorite Village Chardonnays. The nose is clean, fresh, and pungent with lime zest and minerality. The palate has density and length. This wine boxes above its weight class.
2022 Avenius Sauvignon Blanc
Old vines reflect a nuanced, complex terroir driven wine. Aromas are of wet rocks and oyster shells. The palate is broad with mid-palate weight. The finish is framed by precise mineral acidity.
2022 Hardscrabble Sauvignon Blanc
The fresh and effusive 2022 Hardscrabble Sauvignon Blanc has classic varietal aromas and flavor profiles. It is very linear on the palate with a pithy, orange peel finish.
2021 Wabi Sabi
The 2021 vintage has more weight and volume than typical for our Wabi Sabi. It is full bodied and very dry.
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese aesthetic that reveres the “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”. This reflects our philosophy behind the wine. It is a blend that is made without a plan. Decisions are made throughout elevage (aging) as we become familiar with the personality of each lot. This is unusual for traditional, conservative, methodical Linden Vineyards.
