Homage 2015

Lingering. Homage is a one-time bottling of Merlot (68%) and Cabernet Franc (32%). With seven years of age, it is harmonious, contemplative, and resolved.

The blend was inspired by Richard Law’s love of St. Emilion. He discovered wine in the 1960s, and he enjoyed sharing his passion. His infectious love of wine ultimately led to the founding of Linden Vineyards.

Coincidence (or fate) gave us some outstanding Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes from our Hardscrabble vines in 2015. These are the grapes that make St. Emilion.

Homage reminds us that wine is so much more than ratings, scores and awards. It can be an emotional bond and connection to people, events and memories. Especially when is it made with intention and love.

Each weekend Linden features an older vintage from our wine library for tasting. Additionally, Friends of Linden can purchase a carafe of the wine to enjoy on the deck. Unfortunately we rarely have enough stock to purchase by the bottle.
