From the Library | Special December Tastings
The hard work of vintage 2025 is done. In the cycle of the seasons this is our time to relax and reflect. We frequent two libraries. With one we catch up on reading, but the other is more for research. This would be our wine library, which is a collection of every vintage we have bottled since 1987. Tasting these back vintages gives insight into understanding our terroir, our picking decisions, and winemaking techniques. Patience rewards. Linden's wines gain complexity and harmony with age, yet some vintages have aged better than others. Why? Was it the weather, vine age? What about climate change?
The first two weeks of December, we'll share past vintages with those who are interested. And tell stories. We'll not only open these older vintages in a special tasting format, but also have fun with some spontaneous cork pulling. We'll not necessarily have any answers to the above questions, but it will be fun!

A Holiday Wine Seminar
If you are looking for a conversation on expert pairing before Thanksgiving, join us this weekend. Wine is key for a festive holiday gathering, but sometimes pairing wine for a feast can be mystifying. We will dive into the fundamentals of flavor theory and the aroma wheel, explaining how they work together or oppose each other. Then we will consider ways to use wine pairing to support and elevate the holiday meal experience. We won't be preparing a Thanksgiving meal for you, but we will give you the tools to select the perfect wines for your own menu.
Linden's Kathleen Rakestraw will lead this seminar. Kathleen has received her WSET III, Spanish Wine Scholar, and Italian Wine Essentials certifications.
